Feasibility Assessment

Environmental remediation projects can range from simple and straightforward to complex with multiple remedial solutions being implemented at once. We know that what they all have in common is that remedy selection requires weighing the costs and benefits of each available technological solution against applicable regulations, geologic setting, risks, time to closure and the physical limitations of your site.

We have experience with a diverse variety of project sizes and types, and we have designed, built, and operated a variety of remedial solutions – from the “tried-and-true” to the innovative. Our goal is to help you evaluate the feasibility of the available technologies and select the one(s) that will best bring your remediation project to completion.

We do not have a vested interest in any remedial technology or affiliation with a particular vendor. We approach each feasibility assessment without limitation or bias. Our goal is to help you have confidence in the remedy selected for your site.

Diverse System Experience

We have worked on projects ranging from fast-tracked petroleum spills to brownfields redevelopment sites to Superfund projects. We have evaluated the feasibility of options including: 

  • Groundwater extraction and non-aqueous phase liquid (NAPL) recovery
  • Monitored Natural Attenuation
  • In-situ chemical oxidation
  • Soil vapor extraction and bioventing
  • Air, ozone and bio-sparging
  • Soil excavation and in-situ soil stabilization

We are committed to communicating complex technical information relative to your remedial alternatives in a way that is clear, concise and readily understandable. Our staff also have experience communicating with regulators and the public about the benefits of remediation and walking these stakeholders through their concerns for public health and the environment.
