Luke Sanborn, P.E. Senior Compliance Engineer
Luke Sanborn is an environmental engineer with experience in environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance. His project experience is diverse and includes air permitting for major and minor sources, air compliance program management, multi-media EHS compliance auditing, EHS management system development, hazardous waste management and compliance for industrial facilities, preparing spill prevention, control, and countermeasure (SPCC) plans and facility response plans (FRPs) for oil storage facilities, and providing industrial wastewater and stormwater permitting services. He has also managed the submittal of numerous environmental reports including Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) Tier II reporting and Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) reporting, biennial hazardous waste reporting, and Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP) annual reports, MassDEP air emissions Source Registration (SR) reporting, and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reporting.
Luke assists facilities across the country with compliance challenges and has strategically assisted with implementing programs to obtain compliance, including with State or Federal Self-Audit/Voluntary Disclosure Programs. He completes EHS assessments as part of Mergers and Acquisitions of facilities and helps with the Integration of EHS programs following Mergers and Acquisitions. In addition, Luke also has experience completing environmental due diligence assessments for impacted properties and conducting environmental characterizations.
