Reminder: December 1, 2013 Training Deadline for Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals

OSHA has revised its Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) to align with the United Nations' Globally Harmonized System. The first compliance deadline is December 1, 2013. By that date, employees must be trained on the new format for Safety Data Sheets and chemical labeling requirements.
