Suzanne Pisano and Jeni Pisani Present on EHS Compliance Managerial Transition at NNECERAPPA

On March 15, 2018, GeoInsight Compliance Director, Suzanne Pisano and Senior Compliance Project Manager, Jeni Pisani presented on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Compliance Transitional Crisis: Ideas and Tools for Managing Change to Maintain EHS Compliance to facility managers and directors at the Northern New England Chapter of the Eastern Region of Association of Physical Plant Administrators (NNECERAPPA) spring conference.

The breadth of knowledge that facility and EHS managers must have regarding their educational facility and physical plant can be overwhelming, and transitions in these management position can sometimes lead to the loss of critical institutional knowledge.  So how do organizations maintain EHS compliance through these transitions?

In Suzanne’s and Jeni’s talk, they provided facilities managers with:

  • an overview of EHS responsibilities for Environmental and Safety, focusing on what matters for school and facilities managers

  • a reviewed several case studies sharing lessons learned

  • a summary of tools and ideas to help manage a transitional crisis
