Bio for Mike Penney, P.E., L.S.P.

Mr. Penney has been with GeoInsight since 1993 and is its director of engineering. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1984 with a degree in Civil Engineering and has spent his last 28 years in private consulting working on geotechnical, stormwater, civil, environmental remediation, and landfill projects. Mr. Penney is a professional engineer in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, and Maine, and a Licensed Site Professional in Massachusetts. He has experience in permitting of site development, solid waste, drainage, and wetlands projects. He also has experience in foundations, sitework, ground improvement, grading, site investigation and characterization programs, surface water control, water collection and treatment systems, and surface water and groundwater sampling and monitoring programs.
