Every individual in our company brings their unique mixture of analytical skills, regulatory knowledge, and dedication to quality work when building strong, honest, and respectful relationships. This past year, we have seen tremendous growth adding five team members across our New England offices with varying skill levels and expertise. We are proud to present these new faces and confident they will earn our clients’ trust.


John Hinckley, Q.E.P. | Associate/Air Compliance Specialist

John is an air quality consultant with 20+ years of permitting, modeling, management, and public speaking experience.  He is passionate about helping clients understand how to design and operate their facilities to comply with the  Clean Air Act, and strives to provide clients with high-quality information and personal attention to ensure the best possible decisions are made throughout the air permitting process. Completing nearly 400 air quality projects from Maine to Alaska, and working with 200+ clients, John specializes in developing permitting and modeling capability in the biogas energy, biomass energy, nuclear energy, forest products, agriculture, manufacturing, mining, hot mix asphalt, aggregate, and ski area sectors. As an advanced AERMOD user, John has completed permit modeling studies in all New England states, New York, Virginia, South Carolina, Idaho, and Alaska. John’s talent further extends to developing accidental release modeling capability. Additionally, John is an industry thought leader, authoring articles like Air Quality Permitting for Anaerobic Digesters, for the leading technical journal BioCycle, and regularly performs presentations and talks at conferences. Coming up, John will be speaking at the 2018 Biomass Technology Conference, 2018 New Hampshire Air & Water Regulatory Conference hosted by the NH Business and Industry Association (BIA), and the 2018 Annual National Conference of the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA).


Lorilee Mather, P.E. | Project Engineer

Lorilee is a New Hampshire Professional Engineer (P.E.) and project manager with 25+ years of experience in a broad range of civil and environmental activities. A masters-level civil and water resources professional with diverse experience in both private and public projects, she has worked on projects involving stormwater management, design and analysis; hydroelectric projects; dam safety and inspections; dam breach and emergency action plans; surface water modeling; floodplain analysis and mapping; GIS mapping and analysis; site selection and land development; and subdivision layout and roadway design. Lorilee was the lead H&H modeler and GIS mapper for the climate adaptation plan for the Town of Exeter for both flooding extents and water quality, and under multiple current and future climate change scenarios. Additionally, she brings valuable and unique experience working on up and downstream fish passage retrofits using creative designs to support biodiversity in waterways around aquatic obstructions, many in unusual locations and with physical challenges like under bridges and in parks including a fish elevator to lift them up! Lorilee also has extensive stormwater analysis and design experience including hydrologic and surface water modeling, LID, and favors watershed-based approaches to general stormwater management.


Marryt Longobardi | Compliance Project Manager

Marryt joins us in our Connecticut office with 12+ years of experience in environmental compliance consulting. She specializes in air compliance, permitting, and modeling, with additional experience in other environmental regulatory programs including Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC), integrated contingency plans, and wastewater permitting and compliance.


Randa Kallin | Environmental Scientist

Randa joined the Massachusetts office after graduating from UMass Amherst with a BS in Environmental Science, supporting our team with air modeling and compliance projects. Her project experience includes air permit regulatory review, air emissions tracking and compliance, and air modeling. Randa has also assisted with preparation of SPCC Plans, Tier II reporting, and SWPPP preparation. Her field experience includes stormwater sampling, groundwater sampling, and data collection at a variety of industrial facilities. She routinely researches regulations to evaluate the applicability to clients on State and Federal regulatory compliance related projects. Randa is 40-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration trained, brings skills in ArcGIS, and performed research in air quality monitoring, co-authoring publications in the Journal of Exposure Science & Environmental Epidemiology.
