ENTRY-LEVEL GEOLOGIST/ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST
GeoInsight is seeking an entry-level professional for our Middletown, Connecticut office. To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following:
- minimum of a B.S. degree in geology, environmental engineering, or a related environmental discipline;
- 0 to 3 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field;
- excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- high degree of self motivation and ability to learn quickly;
- experience in sample collection, contractor oversight, and other field tasks;
- some experience in data evaluation and report writing;
- strong desire for professional growth in a wide variety of project settings; and
- current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus.
MID-LEVEL GEOLOGIST/ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST
GeoInsight is seeking a mid-level professional for our Middletown, Connecticut office. To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following:
- minimum of a B.S. degree in geology, environmental engineering, or environmental science;
- 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar role with proven written, analytical, and interpersonal skills;
- proven experience in conducting field investigation, sample collection, contractor oversight, data evaluation, and report writing;
- proven experience in managing project tasks and overseeing junior level staff;
- some working knowledge of Connecticut (RSR) and federal regulations;
- ability to conduct multiple competing tasks within budget and time constraints;
- strong desire for professional growth in a wide variety of project settings; and
- current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
SENIOR GEOLOGIST/ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST
GeoInsight is seeking a senior-level professional for our Middletown, Connecticut office. To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following:
- Connecticut Licensed Environmental Professional certification;
- minimum of a B.S. degree in geology, environmental engineering, or environmental science (M.S. degree desirable);
- proven experience in managing complex projects under the Connecticut Transfer Act and other State and federal regulatory programs;
- excellent written, analytical, and interpersonal skills;
- proven experience in managing junior-level staff of varying backgrounds;
- proven experience in managing multiple competing projects within budget and time constraints;
- proven success in bringing in new project work; and
- strong desire for professional growth in a dynamic consulting environment.
